1 .- How to register?


To qualify for entry, the first step will be to complete and submit the registration form found on a link from the menu page "registration" of the website.

Once the pre-registration we will send all the personal documents and equipment necessary to participate at the above address, to close the registration process.

2 .- What material should I send?


Each applicant will present "under the pseudonym" One collection consists of ten models. The theme of inspiration is free.

The participants will present their sketches drawn from the front and back in DIN A / 4. The back must compulsorily bear the title of the collection, if any design and the pseudonym of the individual contestant.

The sheets should be accompanied by a technical description of the model and optionally, material samples used in their manufacture. The sheet, which should comprise at least a size 38 in case of women and 42 for men, according to European measurement system, contain at least the following points:

• Sketch all the features of modeling.

• Flags of colors.

• Proposal for fashion and textiles.

• Measures to scale.

• Data sets.

• It may also be attached to the sheet any other documentation considered relevant in the face of the project evaluation

• Any accompanying written description of the material submitted must be in English or Spanish.

With the data provided in the technical description and drawings, the collection must be properly defined and hold a full enough description to be evaluated.

3 .- Can I participate even if I am not a student.


The only conditions needed to participate will be those of the age between 18 and 35 years on 31 December 2010 and had not been winning this competition in previous

4 .- What documentation do I need to participate?


The documentation necessary to participate becomes:

• Proof of identity, age and residence of the applicant. (DNI. DIE or other)

• Curriculum vitae of the person participating in the contest

• The sketches and technical specifications to be submitted in a sealed envelope with the collection title and the pseudonym.

• Affidavit of the collection presented is original and has not been awarded or presented at another contest

5 .- When and where will the event take place?


The event takes place on the island of Tenerife in October 2010.

The exact date will be published following the selection period of the finalists.

6 .- How old do I need to participate?


Age has to be between 18 and 35 years to December 31, 2010

7 .- How much is involved?


Participation in this competition is free

8 .- What is the deadline to send the material?


The material must be in the offices of the Empresa Insular de Artesanía S.A. before April 30, 2010 included.

9 .- Can I send the material by email or can I only send only by mail?


The material will be mailed. The only management we have to do online will be to the pre-enrollment

10 .- Who are the jurors?


It will be a jury composed of:

• Chairman: The Deputy Directors of the Company Island Crafts, SA, or company personnel
Crafts Insular he appoints.

• Members:

A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 15 representatives of various institutions, agencies and
associations, public or private, from the fashion, design and culture.

• Secretary: A person employed by the Company Crafts Island, SA.

11 .- What are the criteria for the jury's decision?


The assessment criteria, in descending order:

1. Originality, quality and creativity of the designs submitted.

2. Innovation and market adaptability.

3. Viability as a commercial product.

12 .- Can I send my material format A3?


No, the material will be sent DINA4 as specified in the contest rules

13 .- How many should I send sketches to sign up for the contest?


We will send two sketch for model, or a total of 20 for the entire collection

14 .- Do I have to send models developed to regisor just sketches?


We only send sketches when registering at any circumstances made models

15 .- Can have the largest collection of style?


No, each library should have a single style

16 .- Can I register more than one collection?


No, each contestant will present a unique collection

17 .- What is the value of the prize?


Two prizes may be awarded, which will be endowed in the amount indicated:


First Prize ... ... ... ... ... ... 4000.00 Euros (gross)

Second Prize ... ... .... ... .. 2000.00 Euros (gross)

And a special award to the collection you get a higher score on the trade, worth 2000.00 Euros (gross).

18 .- What do I do if I am selected?


If you're one of the 10 finalists the organization, the organization will send detailed instructions how to proceed from that point. We use the contact details supplied by the candidate.

19 .- How will I know if I am selected?


The organization published in the contest website with the name list of the 10 finalists. Besides this organization finalists contacted directly via email or fax that candidates will have provided to the organization.

20 .- What if I have problems with my registration online?


If you have any problems when conducting online pre-registration will fit the ability to send an email with all the data we require pre-registration at the contact address of our website.

21 .- Where should I send the material to enter the contest?


I send my material and the required documentation to the following address:

Yes, unless you have won this competition in previous

23. Can more than one person participate in the contest?


Yes, but not more than two teams.

24 .- Is there any help in developing the collection and the way once I was chosen as a finalist?


Yes, finalists will receive a € 1000 to develop the collection, and other extra help depends on the place of origin to move to Tenerife. In the event that the participant is resident in the EU that aid will be 500 € if not this will rise to € 1000.
