A.- Procedure of Granting Awards

The procedure for awarding prizes, will be on a competition, a procedure by which the award is made by comparing the collections presented in order to establish a priority between them, according to established assessment criteria, giving Awards to those who obtain the greatest value in application of the criteria.

The tailored model should be as specified in the blade and the materials listed, keeping in mind that this model should comprise at least a size 38 in case of women and men 42.

B.- Instruction Procedure

The agreement of the jury for this competition will indicate:

  • List of Collections and designers participating in the contest.
  • Identification of the winning collection distinguishing between first and second prize, with brief justification of the reasons that make it worthy of such distinction and specification of the corresponding promoters.
  • Method of payment of the awards
  • Statement, if there is any prize not awarded or consolation prize and also the relevant provision for granting the consolation prize.
  • Any other obligation that is deemed necessary in order to ensure implementation of the subsidized activity
The said Agreement shall be served on the 10 candidates with the highest score and will announce the final result in a fashion show organized to present the proposals of these.

The work not awarded or selected may be picked up or claimed due to shipping upon request of their authors, before 31 October 2010.


The Organization shall not be liable for any damages that may receive materials delivered as a result of transport, handling, display, storage or similar.
The winning designs will remain as "historic" in the possession of the Empresa Insular de Artesanía S.A. with intellectual property for the designers. Participants give the right to let that their designs can be exposed and used in the production of posters, leaflets, newspapers, television and so on. by the Empresa Insular de Artesanía S.A.

C. - Valuation Criteria


For the grant of these awards, provided that the applicant meets the requirements and is not caught by any of the grounds for exclusion expressly provided in these Rules shall take into account the following evaluation criteria, in descending order:

  1. Originality, quality and creativity of the designs submitted.
  2. Innovation and market adaptability.
  3. Viability as a commercial product.
The agreements are taken by simple majority and in case of a tie vote will decide the Presidency.

Applying the evaluation criteria set forth in the above list will result in an ordered list of collections that meet the requirements of these rules, from highest to lowest score, which will serve for the award of prizes provided.
The jury considering the criteria listed above will select ten finalists and organized a fashion show to the ten selected designers to be held on the island of Tenerife in October 2010 where they will announce the winners of the awards.


D. - Obligations of beneficiaries


With the Enroll is presumed unconditional acceptance of these Rules, terms, conditions and obligations contained in it. Each and every one of the awards are granted under these Rules are conditional upon compliance by the beneficiaries of the obligations imposed on them. Failure to perform such obligations incurred by the recipient that the provisional grant award would have been entitled to remain without effect.
